More information here : https://www.skinendaz.ch/fr/nos-cours/samedis-apres-midis

This special "freeride" course will be supervised by certified instructors, with the authorization to teach off-piste. The objective is to learn how to ride while having fun, and this with the maximum safety possible.

Here are some of the topics that will be covered

Safety :

  • How to react in case of an accident
  • Reading the snowpack
  • Use of safety applications such as SLF, REGA etc.
  • Use of mandatory equipment: avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe
  • Preparing for a freeride trip etc.
On and/or off the slopes:
  • Work on ski technique on all types of snow
  • Air & style (snowpark or backcountry)
  • Learn to spot and make "freeride lines
  • The opening of this course requires the participation of a minimum of 6 people.
